2009 JARRELL ORTHODONTICS' WE CARE TREE

SUGAR & SPICE

For the 11th year in a row, the staff at Jarrell Orthodontics took part in WWKI's WE CARE "Trim-a-Tree" program. The staff chose "Sugar & Spice" as the theme for the tree in 2009. The tree included a variety of ornaments having to do with the cooking and baking frenzy that accompanies the holiday season. Miniature rolling pins, gingerbread house picture frames, whisks, Christmas themed cookie cutters, cookie sheets covered with Christmas cookies, miniature measuring cups, flour sifters and more were mixed in among the more traditional red, white and green glass ball ornaments. Candy and red beaded garlands circled the tree as well. In addition, we created a Jarrell Orthodontics' cookbook to go under the tree filled with recipes from our patients, their family, referring dental offices, and Jarrel team members. Holiday themed kitchen utensils, mixing bowls, measuring cups, table linens, baking sheets, a miniature Christmas tea set, and more were stacked next to the tree. If your Christmas holiday memories center around home made treats, this was the tree for you!
