2007 JARRELL ORTHODONTICS' WE CARE TREE

A Star Spangled Christmas

For the 9th year in a row, the staff at Jarrell Orthodontics took part in WWKI's WE CARE "Trim-a-Tree" program. The staff chose "A Star Spangled Christmas" as the theme for the tree in 2007. We chose to go with an "Americana" theme. In addition to the old fashioned red, white and blue themed ornaments, we decorated the tree with garlands full of red berries and sprigs of cranberries topped off by a rustic tin star. The tree was surrounded by a bevy of Americana items including a white rocker, a throw, candles, a wooden stand-up statue of Uncle Sam, a birdhouse, a cookie tin with cookie cutters and a recipe for sugar cookies which appeared in the red "We Care" cookbook, a U.S. flag which was flown over the U.S. Capitol building, and much more. It was a beautiful tree and a favorite of the Jarrell staff.
