JARRELL ORTHODONTICS 1ST TIME PARTICIPANT IN "SUPPLIES"

Coordinated by the Howard Tipton Counties CLC in partnership with United Way and the Salvation Army, SUPPLIES enables students in need to go "back to school" with backpacks filled with the supplies they need to start the year off right.

Jarrell Orthodontics was pleased to take part in the school supply give-a-way held at UAW 685. The folks at Howard Regional Health System called Jarrell Orthodontics in early July to see if we could donate toothbrushes and toothpaste to put in the backpacks they were providing for the program. When our supplies did not arrive in time to be stuffed into the Howard Regional backpacks, we were able to set the Jarrell Orthodontics table next to the table from Howard Regional Health System and give away our toothbrushes and toothpaste. Children had 2 decisions to make: the color of their toothbrush and flavor of toothpaste (Colgate mint or SpongeBob bubble fruit). Jarrell Orthodontics was one of many busineses and groups in the community who donated items for SUPPLIES. While their parents went through the booths to pick up the school supplies, there were a number of people on hand to entertain the children...
